Everyone has a story to tell. Mine started when I fell in love with the art of DJing (2003). What was a hobby became a profession. I’ve had the honor of working with clients like the NBA, NASCAR, RedBull, fashion boutiques and designers, as well as numerous entertainment venues. I’ve been fortunate to share my sounds on the same stage with many notable DJs & producers including Paul Oakenfold (former #1 DJ in the world), Morgan Page (Grammy award nominee), Cedric Gervais (Grammy award winner) & many more. Numerous restaurants, lounges and entertainment venues selected me to provide the soundtrack for their grand openings to project their image correctly from the start.
In 2005, I was chosen out of 100 applicants to attend a music production workshop sponsored by RedBull known as “RedBull Music Labs”. Under the instruction of industry heavyweight “Bassnectar”, the foundation for my audio production & editing skill set was built.
Alongside my passion for all things audio, I acquired an Associates Degree in Arts (2007), along with an Associates Degree in Applied Science: Advertising & Graphic Design (2009). Furthering my studies, I earned certificates in my field for Typography, Interactive Design, & Illustration.
I was able to fuse the audio visual realms when i took the next step and began hosting my own events. Throughout the years I created distinct events where i was able to implement my knowledge of graphic design, branding, marketing, and advertising. This ultimately got the attention of an entertainment venue where I was brought on as marketing and events manager (2011-2013). This challenging, fast-paced work environment led me to piece together over 300 events in a two year time span. I worked with some of the world’s top DJs, producers & their management teams. Artists included Paul Van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Sander Van Doorn, Above & Beyond, Gabriel & Dresden, Cosmic Gate, Dada Life, BT, ATB, Ferry Corsten, Starkillers, Bingo Players, Krewella, Z-Trip, Jazzy Jeff, Kid Capri and many more.
Above all, I strive to make each project that comes my way distinct without losing focus on the brand it reflects back upon. Most people think more is better, but I find truth in the opposite. I’m always looking for ways to reduce things down to the bare essentials. I prefer a minimalistic design approach as things become focused and coherent when there are less distracting elements in the way of what you want to project.
