Last weekend, i had the honor of rocking the main room at Butter NC for “Miami Takeover”. It was an awesome party put together by 2 production companies known as Rumba and 3 Olives Productions. Special thanks to them for inviting me to play a set!

It was an amazing night where i joined forces with DJs Nando (Ecuadaor) & DIM (Russia) and the phenomenal electric violinist Dmitriy Melkumov (Miami). The fusion of our sounds brought the crowd to a frenzy, and Dmitriy’s performance sent the energy through the roof! Definitely one of my my favorite parties so far this year. Here’s a few pics to recap the night:

The opening of Phoenix went off with a BANG! With well over 1,000 people in attendance, this was definitely the place to be. French DJ/Producer Antoine Clamaran rocked the club proper along with Kevin Focus, while I keep the packed-out Terrace moving all night under the stars.

This Friday is the grand opening of Phoenix with global-touring DJ Matt Darey. I’ll be playing on the Terrace once again, but i’ve invited a few friends to join in on the fun. DJ’s Joseph Rheuma and Proton will be meshing their signature sounds along with mine for another amazing night. See you there!

The building that sits at 300 North College Street in Charlotte, NC has been a staple of the region’s electronic music scene since 1993. I was lucky enough to experience the last few years of the venue once known as “Mythos”, where i got to see world-class DJ’s up close and personal.

The venue closed doors in 2004 and reopened under the same management in 2005 as “The Forum”. There, I was fortunate to play at parties with headlining DJs like Cedric Gervais, Benny Benassi, Markus Schulz, and Morgan Page to name a few. After closing its doors in 2010 for another revamp, the time has now come for “the new standard for Charlotte nightlife”.

“Phoenix” is opening its doors this saturday March 19th with French superstar DJ/Producer Antoine Clamaran conducting the orchestra. I’m thrilled to be part of this grand opening, where i’ll be spinning tunes under the stars on the open-air roof garden.

This Wednesday, Kevin Focus has invited me to play alongside him for his new weekly residency at Kazba in uptown Charlotte. I’m excited not only to play some amazing new tunes, but also because this is my well-overdue debut at this venue! Hope to see you there!

The 2nd event this saturday… is a secret! It’s being held at a smaller venue just outside of downtown CLT. I’ll be starting off slow with some downtempo grooves, and picking up the pace later on in the night! If you’d like to join in on the fun, send me a message and i’ll fill you in on the details…

Early on in the fall season, Sugar Society invited me to play a set on the rooftop of The Forum when Markus Schulz was in town! It was a great night under the stars, with the cool breeze of fall starting to set in.

In September & October, my monthly “Global Fever” residency made its way to Dharma Lounge, a venue in Southend with a laid back vibe, tucked away just outside of downtown Charlotte. This past weekend the residency made its way to a brand new venue, next door to Dharma, called Marigny. Both of these venues have amazing sound and lighting, and the crowd has been excited to follow Global Fever into new territory.

This week superstar DJ Paul Oakenfold invades Charlotte on the “Facelift Tour” along with DJ Chuckie, and the sister dj-duo known as Nervo. Sugar Society has invited me back once again to drop a set on the patio! It’s been a while since Charlotte has had a multi-headliner show like this, and the excitement is massive…
