The Young Adult League (YAL) is a national church-affiliated youth group that targets Orthodox Christians between the ages of 18-35, and is meant to help them transition through the various stages of life after high school. The Charlotte, NC chapter hosts an annual basketball tournament and convention that brings in people from all over the USA.
I volunteered my services by creating a website that became the primary hub for the weekend’s activities. Throughout the months leading up to the event, I designed various promotional materials including flyers and print advertisements. I also fulfilled the role as event manager & entertainment coordinator, working with local venues and national artists for the various activities that accompanied the Convention (2009-2012).
