Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some of the most popular questions from the thousands of wedding and event clients served.
How long have you been DJing?
It’s been over 20 years since it all began! Click here to learn more about Kosta’s journey through music.
When should I book the DJ?
A good time frame is 6 months to 1 year before the event, but we might have availability for short notice events as well. Click here to check date availability.
Should we feed the DJ?
This is not required and is completely up to you. Typically, the catering director or event coordinator will set aside a meal for the DJ if requested by the client.
Should I tip the DJ?
We do not include gratuity in the final contract price. 10-20% is generally recommended if your DJ did a great job, but it is entirely up to you.
My venue has a sound system we can use (or a band I hired is providing one). Why do I need to rent one from you?
We come prepared to do our job with all equipment necessary along with some backups because issues can happen at any moment. If the venue’s sound system is not suitable for the type of event or the band’s system has technical issues during the event, there’s no need to worry. We do everything possible on our end to ensure things run smoothly.
